As a user, you can chat with one person or with multiple people at the same time. You don’t need to be in an existing group to start a group chat. This way, everything is open for discussion.
Group chat
If you want to start a chat with multiple people, follow these steps:
1. Click '+ New chat' in the chat bar on the left-hand side.
2. Then search for the people you want to chat with and check the box next to their names.
3. Click 'Create chat'. You will now enter the group chat you just created and can start chatting with multiple people at once. In the right-hand column, you can see who is part of the group. You can always add or remove members.
4. Now type a message to your colleagues and press Enter or click the arrow to the right of the message field. When someone sends a message in a group chat, all other group members receive a notification, so everyone stays informed.
Want to start a group chat from an individual chat? That’s also very easy. Click the button 'Start group chat' and then follow steps 2 to 4 above.
Tip! The chat offers many features: you can chat with your colleagues using emojis or GIFs, format text, add attachments, create timeline posts, and even schedule events directly within the chat.
